A native of Omaha, Jeanine’s passion for supporting children with autism is deeply personal—both professionally and as a mother of two sons on the autism spectrum. Her journey into autism therapy began at Easterseals, where she recognized the critical need for improved services within the autism community. At Heartwise, she is dedicated to ensuring that each child’s support plan is holistic and comprehensive, addressing all aspects of their lives through therapies such as ABA, speech, OT, and mental health services. Jeanine coordinates treatment across multiple settings—clinics, homes, schools, and the community—ensuring every child receives the tailored support they need.

I have been licensed as an Independent Mental Health Practitioner for the past 4.5 years and have been working in the behavioral health field for over 30 years. Most of my past experience has been working with adults who experience serious mental health symptoms including Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, and Schizophrenia/Schizoaffective Disorder, both in community-based and inpatient service settings.
I believe in meeting my clients where they are, helping them identify where they want to be in their lives and relationships, then using an array of therapeutic techniques to help them achieve their goals. I focus on listening, validating, and empowering clients, while also helping them explore the thoughts, emotions and behaviors that may be holding them back. I have experience with Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and enjoy helping clients build skills from these modalities.
Life is hard, and we're all doing the best we can. I look forward to each session as an opportunity to help clients make their lives a little easier, to become a little happier, and to gain new skills to thrive personally and interpersonally moving forward.

Kelsey has over ten years of experience supporting adolescents, adults, and elder adults with managing anxiety, depression, caregiver stress, grief, death and dying, and relationship issues. She has served individuals with developmental disabilities and patients on hospice in the role of therapist and caregiver. She believes everyone is capable of healing and growing when they are open to the process and is passionate about partnering with you to better know yourself, and the choices you have for how to exist, and even thrive. She is consistently in awe of the strength of her clients.

I am a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner, Licensed Mental Health Professional, and a School Psychologist. I have four years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and families across the school setting and have recently expanded my practice to include the clinical setting. I have experience working with children with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, and behavioral concerns.
My work is grounded in evidence-based practices and a strengths-based approach. I believe that every child and family deserves to feel understood, supported, and empowered. I focus on practical, skill-building strategies that can be used in real-life settings — at home, at school, and in the community.
At Heartwise Mental Health, my goal is to provide thoughtful, compassionate care that helps clients build emotional insight, resilience, and confidence. I strive to create a welcoming space where growth feels possible and support feels genuine.
